The Association of Old Crows (AOC) is an organization for individuals who have common interests in Electronic Warfare, Electromagnetic Spectrum Management Operations, Cyber Electromagnetic Activities, Information Operations, and other information related capabilities. AOC further provides a means of connecting members and organizations nationally and internationally across government, defense, industry, and academia. This crossflow promotes the exchange of ideas and information and provides a platform to recognize advances and contributions in these fields. JBM Supports deployment of CUAS equipment to Europe
Over the past several weeks JBM Field Service Engineers have supported the installation of Counter UAS technologies onto modified HUMVEE vehicles for deployment to Europe. The modifications support National Strategy Objectives and help ensure the defensive posture of US and Allied forces within the European Theater.
JBM Participates in Charleston Defense Contractors Association Annual Defense Summit
JBM was a returning participant to the Charleston Defense Contractors Association’s (CDCA) 15th Annual Defense Summit 7-8 December 2022. The CDCA Defense Summit is one of the largest defense-focused events on the East Coast, bringing more than 1,600 Government, Military, Academia, and Industry leaders together to better understand and address today’s technology challenges within our Defense Industry. While there, JBM gained insight into US Navy goals and priorities to evolve our warfighter support in these rapidly changing times. JBM also strengthened strategic partnerships and promoted increased visibility of its core capabilities across both Government and Industry partners.

JBM Earns Second Successive Gold HIRE Vets Medallion Award
For the second year in a row, the US Department of Labor has awarded JBM the Gold HIRE Vets Medallion Award. The 2022 distinction recognizes JBM’s true appreciation for the value veterans bring to the workplace. Further, it is the only veteran employment award presented at the Federal level and to earn it, competitors must meet rigid hiring and retention standards. JBM Participates in the Marine Corps Systems Command’s Recent Small Business Roundtable
On 27 September 2022, JBM participated in Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) Small Business Roundtable discussion. This MARCORSYSCOM sponsored forum presented their perspective and strategy for incorporating solutions from small business vendors. In addition to Command presentations, each small business was afforded the opportunity to present their offerings and value specific to Marine Corps missions and requirements. A proven Marine Corps prime contractor, JBM was represented by its CEO, Andy Vonada. As a feature of the forum, and during break-out discussions, Mr. Vonada (a retired Marine) presented JBM’s value based on our maturity and collective experience fielding, training, and sustaining cutting edge warfighting capabilities. JBM Supports Northern Strike 21-2 Exercise
Recently, JBM Systems maintenance technicians supported Northern Strike 21-2 Exercise.
Northern Strike is a multi-component, multinational exercise designed to build readiness and enhance interoperability with allied forces to fight and win. Northern Strike 21-2, the Michigan National Guard’s largest and longest exercise designed to enhance and validate readiness of the joint reserve force, was held July 31, 2021 through August 14, 2021 at the National All-Domain Warfighting Center. This year’s iteration featured approximately 5,100 participants from 20 states and 4 coalition partners.
JBM employees’ vital performance facilitated Unmanned Aircraft Systems Ground-Based Detect and Avoid deployed system setup. They also provided expert troubleshooting to both the system itself and its connection to the Reaper Ground Control Station. Further, JBM’s lead Systems Maintenance Technician served as the primary interface with Air National Guard organizations from across the country and was instrumental in addressing numerous integration issues. JBM is proud of its long-standing, full spectrum support to Department of Defense Radar and Sensor systems, and the vital missions they perform.
